Shortly after finding out I was pregnant with my second child I contacted Carolynn to request that she be my doula for the second time. She rearranged her schedule to accommodate me as a repeat client. Knowing she would assist me again gave me peace throughout my pregnancy as I anticipated labor. Carolynn was quick to answer questions I sent via text, and met with me twice prior to labor.
When I began having contractions Carolyyn met me at the hospital with very short notice. She calmly talked with me as I paced the halls of the hospital, and with each contraction would massage or apply pressure to my back. As labor progressed she gently encouraged me, assisted in me laboring in the bath, and made me feel completely supported during all of it. I would highly recommend Carolynn as a knowledgeable and experienced doula who supported me through labor and delivery twice in a selfless manner. Her warm and comforting personality were a perfect fit for me.
