My baby is almost 4 months old now, so this review is long overdue! She is my 4th baby, so you can imagine that I'm a very busy lady! But, thanks to my wonderful doula Olga, I was able to achieve my 1st completely unmedicated natural birth. I originally had a different doula, but things didn't work out. I'm glad that happened, because I found Olga! We didn't have much time to get to know each other prior to my labor, due to my late decision to look for someone else. But Olga made me feel very comfortable and well cared for, from day one. She made my experience great, and she really took the extra time to get to know me, considering the anticipated short timespan from our 1st meeting to my labor and delivery. She was available to help me with questions and concerns. She gave me good advice to help keep my experience as natural and customized as possible. She helped me to develop and understand my birth plan, and the processes that go with a natural hospital birth. During labor, she was very supportive amd encouraging. She taught me techniques for handling my pain, such as visualizing and using essential oils, which really helped me get through the harder contractions. But most of all, she believed in me and she encouraged and inspired me to believe in myself! She was actively motivating me through all 11 hours of labor, and when things really got tough in the last 45 minutes, she was my own personal cheerleader. She was right there telling me I could do it, and because of her I DID IT! Without her, I KNOW I would have given up. I highly recommend her! She was referred to me from another doula, and our personalities meshed, so it worked out very well. I would also like to add that Olga still keeps in touch with me! She truly cares about her clients! Thanks again Olga for a wonderful experience! I have fond memories of my special day!
