Wendy was the best help imaginable for the birth of our first child. She offered us a combination of her birthing class with her doula preparation, customized to our needs. It was so helpful to learn about birth and get to talk through our questions. She made sure we felt as prepared as one can feel before the first birth. We appreciated the insight she gave us into what to expect at a hospital and alternative, natural methods, and the fact that she respected our choices and supported us in it. During my labor (36h!!) she was such a great support to me and my husband, first over the phone and when the active labor started, at the hospital. She was awesome at creating an environment where I felt safe, relaxed and genuinely cared for. She worked very well with the doctors and nurses and helped my husband coach me through contractions. With my own mom being 6000 Miles away (but on her way), i was glad to have Wendy there who cared for me like a mother would care for her daughter. I could not recommend Wendy Freeze more, especially to first time moms!
