It has taken me almost 9 months to write this review! Ellie was amazing. She had an incredibly calming presence at the birth of our son in May 2017. I wasn’t in active labor when Ellie arrived but I had already been at the hospital for about 24 hours. I was exhausted having only slept just a few hours in the last 48. My husband and I were both rather discouraged about the way things had been handled at the hospital with my unexpected induction at 41+ weeks. I was emotionally and physically drained and my labor wasn’t even underway. When Ellie arrived she jumped right, providing words of encouragement and support. Her presence energized my husband and me and gave me the boost of energy that I needed to give birth my son about 12 hours later (without an epidural!). She helped to direct me into different positions and was great at involving my husband in offering counter pressure and massage. She took photos of us throughout -- thanks to Ellie we have some amazing photos from the moments right after our son was born. They bring tears to our eyes every time we look at them. I would highly recommend Ellie!
