While pregnant with my third child, I talked with multiple Doula candidates to make sure I found the perfect match, and did I ever with Stacy! Right from our first meeting, I could tell she was "the one". She was warm, friendly, and supportive of my choices instantly. Throughout my pregnancy she was not just a resource, but someone I could go to with struggles whether it be emotional or physical. She would e-mail, call and text, to maintain a connection. When it came down to the last few weeks of my pregnancy, she kept track of all of my appointments, and would ask for updates along the way. When my due date came and went, she was there for me, helping me to stay calm and gave suggestions on how to naturally encourage baby to come. The day I was admitted to the hospital, she had been up for over 24 hours- As a client that was not due for a month had her baby the night prior. She drove over to hours to be by my side, without taking a moment to think of herself. From the time she walked into our birthing room, I knew I was going to be taken care of. She knew the type of birth I wanted, and would help advocate that. We were thrown some curveballs during the delivery, and Stacy was there the entire way taking charge where she could, and still encouraging and supporting me. She must have walked miles that day, with me. She was by my side the entire time, and never took a moment away. Not only is she an amazing doula, but she was able to capture the labor and birth of my Daughter via photographs- Which I will cherish forever. I would recommend Stacy to anyone looking for a Doula to support their birth plan, especially if you are wanting love and support through the entire process. Stacy will forever hold a spot in our family!
