I could not have experienced the birth I did if not for my fantastic doula, Kathie. She met with me 2 different times before my birth and gave me lots of information. I was able to take this information and make the right decisions for my pregnancy and birth.
When I went into labor, she was with me the whole time. Her professionalism and experience were greatly appreciated. I wanted a natural birth, and Kathie explained everything that was offered to me from the nurses in a way that helped me make the choices I wanted. Her gentle spirit filled the room and set the mood for a great birth. When I didn't think I could do it, she was there helping me through every breath and every contraction. When it was time to push, I only focused on Kathie's gentle guiding voice. I know that sounds wierd, but she was the best! My husband and I welcomed our baby girl into a peaceful enviromnent and enjoyed our "Golden Hour" all with the help of Kathie.
I would recommend Kathie to all future moms, she is the best!!! Worth every penny and then some!
