Testimonial for Pascaline Vanoplynus
Throughout my pregnancy I created a plan as to how I wanted to birth my child, knowing that a plan is a plan and sometimes they can change. We were very fortunate to have been introduced to Pascaline who helped us make informed decisions and teach us different techniques to help us throughout the remainder of my pregnancy and eventually labour and delivery.
The morning we thought was the day Myles would be born she was there for us from the beginning, spending almost 24 hours with us as I laboured, coaching me to keep going, walking the halls, climbing the stairs, massaging me and keeping Steven and I as calm and comfortable as possible. She was there for amazing emotional support when I felt like my body was failing me after I had failed to progress any further, and was sent home.
While home she coached me through different things to get my labour started up again and encouraged me. The next morning our little man was finally ready to make his appearance and Pascaline was at the ready. I laboured hard and quick and I honestly don’t think I could have stuck to my birth plan if I didn’t have her there for emotional and physical support, and to be my advocate. Giving birth can be scary, she took a lot of the scary away (even if it was Halloween ??).
