It is essential to have a doula with you in every birth. I didn't know that I was pregnant until my 6-month and it was my first pregnancy as well. At first, I was so anxious and nervous about it. Luckily, I had Ana to be with me for the rest of the 3 months. Although we only met 2 times before my delivery, Ana did help a lot. She answered all my questions patiently. She was such a cheerful person that every time after our meeting, I felt more relaxed and confident about the labor. Well time flew and it finally came to the labor day. In the afternoon, I was told by my doctor that my cervix was 2cm open. After a few hours in the late night, my contraction started. I called Ana, and she told me to try to relax and she would come to my home later. However, things happened unexpectedly. My contraction became so intense very quickly so I called her again. And then, she was there with me very soon. During my contraction, she massaged me whenever I needed. When I was screaming out, she tried to comfort me. When we got to the hospital, I was ready to push. For the whole process, Ana was holding my hand giving me strength and courage. And yes, it was such a successful delivery because my baby came out in an hour. It was an amazing experience with Ana and I am so looking forward to my next pregnancy with her again!!
