Testimonial for Heidi Biddle
We hired Heidi for the birth of both of our children. At first, I was unsure whether or not I wanted to have a natural birth because of my fear of the pain. I had my first born a decade ago via epidural. Even though it was not my first birth, I knew I would need some assistance during my attempt to birth without pain medication. When I met Heidi, both my husband and I were instantly put to ease and felt like she was family. Initially, my husband had some anxiety about all the unknowns of labor; but after our meeting with Heidi, he felt quite confident and ready to take on the task of birthing partner! She was always available for questions and encouragement during the pregnancy. Heidi was right there by our side during the labors, allowing my husband to take a break as needed. Heidi was always giving constant reassurance that I could get through this labor. She gave me the encouragement I needed when I was started to feel as though I was not strong enough to continue. When it came down to the pushing, it was Heidi's voice that I remember help me center my focus. I know there is no way I would have been able to have two natural births in 18 months without her. As soon as we hear one of our friends are expecting, we immediately give them the recommendation to hire Heidi. Several of our friends chose to have Heidi as their doula and been so thankful!
