Wendy was so wonderful to work with. She met me multiple times throughout my pregnancy to go over my birth plan and see how things were going. She was always available by text or phone if I had questions. She was great about empowering my husband. Before birth he was very skeptical about the need for a doula but now he recommends it to anyone we talk to. She was gentle but fIrm in helping me stick to my plan during birth which I knew I would need. I was also worried about the doctor being receptive to her but she asked for her business cards afterward to hand out to her patients. She said "I was worried that you had a doula because I feel like sometimes they overstep the boundaries but she did a great job supporting you and respecting me." She checked on us at home after the birth. Couldn't have been more pleased!
