Celia’s quick response to phone calls and text during labor as well as her support in reminding us of the things we wanted out of our birth were very helpful to my husband and I. In labor, what helped me relax were things that were discussed at our prenatal appointments like taking a bath, abdominal breathing, moving around, reading birth affirmations and listening to music. Her additional support as well as calm presence after delivery was beyond appreciated. I didn’t know I should eat after delivery and her gentle offering of a small snack helped me when I didn’t even know I needed it. And the foot rub afterwards was a happy distraction.
