We took a birth refresher course for our second child with Emily Bruno, and it was wonderful. Lots of helpful information and an approach to monitoring and progressing labor that made our actual birth experience so positive and informed. Emily surrounded us with a supported environment, and had we not already lined up a doula we adore, we would have certainly felt comfortable hiring Emily or anyone else on her team as our doula. The class was so good we actually referenced the materials in the middle of birth even though it was our second child.
