I was fortunate to have Kari as my birth doula during my pregnancy. Her warm and caring spirit shined through in every interaction that I had with her.
She is very professional and organized, but also a joy to be around. This made the decision to have her join my journey through pregnancy, labor/delivery, and postpartum an easy one.
I looked forward to every visit that I had with Kari. It was clear, in everything that she did as our doula, that the safety of me and my baby was of the utmost importance to her.
She even went above and beyond on more than one occasion by checking on me when extreme nausea led to some unexpected hospital trips. She comforted me at my bedside with essential oils, peppermints and massages.
Kari also provided me with fantastic prenatal massages throughout my pregnancy, which improved my quality of life as my body was experiencing so many drastic changes.
Thanks to Kari's guidance and support, my partner and I felt much more confident and informed going into labor and delivery. She helped me to spend the majority of my time laboring in the comfort of my home, and was there for me every step of the way in the delivery room. I knew that if I needed anything, Kari was there for me.
She even took our first photos as a family of 3 for me right after my son was delivered. But the most precious thing Kari did was to write my son's birth story so that we will always have it and can share it with him when he gets older. I will treasure this priceless memento of the day of his birth forever.
Thank you, Kari, for all that you did for me and my family through every stage of my pregnancy and beyond! You were a constant source of strength, love, and support. We were so lucky to have you as our doula!
