Originally it was my husband that requested we get a doula for the birth of our daughter and I went along with it lol. Melissa taught our prenatal class and we both agreed she wold be a good fit. During labour she pushed me when I needed it and was always making me feel that I was doing a great job even when I felt I couldnt go on any longer. The whole day is a big blur for me but I remember Melissa getting me to do the things I needed to do ( get out of the bath, go to the toilet, change positions) even when I was neither willing or able to do them myself. I highly recommend her services and know that if we have another baby she will be along for the ride.
