I never thought I would use a doula and was pretty cynical about it, but Jenny was a *lifesaver* during my labor and delivery! From helping me with breathing, to using a wooden roller and then warm shower on my back, to generally being calm and supportive (and responding to my needs rather than having her own agenda), she helped the labor process feel manageable and non-traumatic.
