When the unexpected, unplanned, and unthinkable happened, I was grateful to have Jessica by my side.
At the relentless insistence of my sister (who hired Jessica for all 4 of her children's births), I hired Jessica - not really believing that I would actually need her help.
Like a lot of woman (especially 1st time new mom's) I hoped and fantasized of a complication-free pregnancy, a vaginal delivery, a natural breastfeeding experience, a smooth transition into mommy-hood etc. What could possibly go wrong? My body was DESIGNED for this, right?
Unfortunately, I learned that pregnancy doesn't always go as planned. Delivery doesn't always go as planned. Breastfeeding doesn't always go as planned. Most babies make it home, but not all of them do. And, sometimes even when you DO get to take your perfect little baby home, somewhere along the line might you lose your own mind unable to find your way back to yourself.
For these reasons, and so many more, I was so grateful to have Jessica by my side. Her experience is second to none. Some people call her the baby-whisperer, and it's true, she is! She is equally as much of a mama-whisperer.
When things went side-ways (on more than one occassion, with more than one pregnancy) Jessica pulled me through - physically and emotionally - to the other side. She advocated for me when I couldn't do it for myself. She had my back all the way and for as long as I needed her to.
I am forever grateful and indebted to her for all that she has done for my healthy and beautiful babies, for my family, and for me. With Jessica, you are in very good, loving, strong, hands.
