I can't help but recommend Kate to any new mothers and their families. Having a baby is daunting enough - and then the hospital sent me home without an instruction manual! This is when Kate stepped in. Kate taught me and my husband so much and she gave me a different perspective on my time as a new mama. People spend so much time doting on mothers during their pregnancies and oftentimes - once baby arrives, people focus so much on baby that mama is almost an afterthought. She focused on making sure I was well taken care of by everyone around me So that I could take excellent care of my little guy. Kate takes the whole family into account with her approach and handles it in a gentle and loving way. She finds a way to make sure dad feels needed and helpful. Is mama finding the time to take a shower everyday? How about meals? Who is making the meals and ensuring that everyone is eating? Siblings? She will find a way to get them involved and make sure they feel just as important as before this new little creature entered their home.

Most importantly, I remember the way Kate made me feel - empowered! She helped me gain the confidence I needed to hold my little man (yes - I was worried I might break him ??). The confidence to give him a bath. How to take a shower when I was the only one home and baby was wide awake... How to take that onesie off after a blowout without getting it in his hair or on his face! What foods to eat that help with maintaining my milk supply. The list goes on.

So yes - I would recommend Kate in a heartbeat. She is amazing at what she does and I am so fortunate to have learned from her.
