Meeting Jessica made my transition into motherhood a breeze!
I found Jessica a couple of weeks after having my first son. Being a first-time mom, having to go back to the hospital due to baby's jaundice, and struggling with breastfeeding-- those couple of weeks were stressful. Jessica's hands-on support with breastfeeding was far more helpful than any of the books or online resources I have studied and even better than advice we got at the hospital nursing clinic. Jessica helped me through every step and milestone -- breastfeeding, identifying and dealing with growth spurts, explaining what is normal and what needs to addressed, teaching baby care and baby-wearing, sleep training, weaning, and transitioning to solids. And later, she was my son's the most favourite nanny! They had the best time together discovering the world. And all along the way I was enjoying and treasuring that tremendous support and deep knowledge of hers that made me a CALM and happy mother.
So naturally, Jessica was with us when we welcomed our second son. I was so happy to have her care for him as soon as he was born. As we discovered, things rarely happen in the same ways or patterns, and everything was different with our second child. But Jessica and her expertise were always there, and I have gained even more understanding of all baby-related topics.
I would definitely recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a birth doula, postpartum doula, lactation/breastfeeding support, and a nanny.
