I am so glad that we chose Liz to be our doula. She was so helpful in meeting with us before labor. The resources and reassurance she provided helped to relieve some of the fear we had going into a VBAC after having an emergency c-section with our first child. After going past my due date and thinking I would never go into labor, I ended up having a super quick labor and delivery lasting only a few hours, and Liz' support and guidance were crucial in me reaching my goal of an unmedicated VBAC. She was ready and waiting at the hospital when I arrived fully dilated, and she coached me through the entire pushing process. She reminded me to let my body relax between contractions, and she helped me to stay calm by encouraging me and reminding me that my body was doing what it was meant to do.
