Words cannot express how integral Jessica was to the process of having my first baby. Before giving birth Jessica gave me the confidence to trust my own body and thereby allowing me to experience the anticipation and birth day as I had envisioned.
When it came to labour itself, Jessica was so key to having a successful experience that I cannot have imagined doing it without her. Jessica was so hands-on and knowledgable that from the first moment she arrived on the day, my stress level dropped dramatically and thereby allowing me to feel in control and happy throughout labour. Another big impact of having Jessica around was that it freed up my husband to be my emotional support partner and in turn allowed him to really experience the joy of the day.
Following the birth, my experience with the support that Jessica provided postpartum was equally essential. Not only did it allow for a successful experience breastfeeding, but it also helped me enjoy having my new baby as so much of what Jessica does is to give mothers the confidence to trust their instincts.
I truly cannot say enough positive things about Jessica. I so highly recommend her for all parts of the birthing / postpartum experience. My only misgiving is that she will not be in Toronto for my next baby!!
