Chris was absolutely amazing. When we first hired her it was because of a friends recommendation and I wasn't even sure if i needed a doula. I thought my husband and family could just handle it. I was SO wrong! Having Chris there was a godsend and I will never have another baby without her.
when you're going through labor it's sometimes hard to think or make decisions. She was able to not only help ease my pain with breathing and different techniques, but she was also my advocate to the hospital staff. She helped me make decisions based on her experience but she didn't judge me at all which was important to me.
she also knew how to speed up labor with different positions during contractions which is super good for the Baby.
Overall if you're looking to hire Chris just do it! Don't hesitate, you will love her and you will wonder how you could've ever done it without her :)
