Jessica Cherniak was our doula for our first baby. Working with Jessica was the best decision we made. From the moment we hired Jessica (which was when I was around 3-4 months pregnant), we were able to talk openly with her. She happily answered any questions I had regarding my pregnancy and was always able to put my mind at ease. Having a doula assist through the birth experience is so valuable. The first weeks at home with our baby boy Jack were challenging and nothing prepares you for that emotional rollercoaster. Jessica was a calming presence during her daily visits. She helped me with breastfeeding, bonding with the baby, and general baby care. She also has so much wisdom when it comes to the changes that occur between a husband and wife post-baby. Overall, I cannot sing her praise enough - she is amazing! I am going to miss her.
