My husband and I hired Tobin to help with post partum doula care after the birth of our first child. Not having a lot of experience with infants and being first time parents, we wanted to make sure we had the support we needed to transition into a family of three. I also specificially wanted support around lactaion and breast feeding.
In our experience, Tobin is easy to be around, asks great questions, listens attentively and makes herself incredibly useful during the hours she works with a family. She proactively looks for things to help with around the house, takes the baby off your hands so you can rest or shower, helps with breast feeding and based on your conversations offers great practical advice for the baby and your family. In addtion to the hours we worked with her in-person it was a great relief to be able to text her questions and call and email her for advice.
Tobin was reliable, kind, resourceful and a wealth of practical knowledge on everything from the best fleece booties for our boy's cold feet to how to deal with sick relatives who are insisent on visiting. We feel fortunate and grateful that we had the chance to work with her and would highly recommend her to other families looking for post partum care.
