My wife and I had to stay in the hospital for several days after our daughter's birth, during which time she had difficulty latching and nursing. The hospital lactation consultants were minimally present, and often provided conflicting information. When Meema came to visit us in the hospital, she felt like the first sane, compassionate and calming person we'd talked to in days! She listened genuinely and carefully to our concerns, provided excellent concrete suggestions, and most importantly conveyed confidence and perspective.
