When I began my pregnancy with my second baby on February 2015 I had no plans on having a doula nor had I much information about it. That all changed on late July 2015. One simple, yet changing, phone call changed my mind. Yaheli and I conected right away. She became more that my doula. She was, and still is, my support, my friend, my sister, my "baby wikipedia". She is simply the best!
During my son's birth she not only helped me, she calmed my husband and mother-in-law, who were both present on the birth, and more importantly, she guided my 8yr. old daughter through the whole birthing process. She helped with the ambience on the room, she gave me massages, my doctor knew her and trusted her, she was just the right person to be there with us during the process. After my baby was born she showed me how to properly nurse him. She stayed in close contact durimg our firstbdays with our newborn.
Today, 5 months later, whenever I need her she doesn't hestitate to answer my questions. Yaheli truly is the best doula there is and I was simply, and very truly, blessed to have her in my life. To have people like her that truly love and feel passionate about what they do is extremely rare. God bless you always!
