I am so proud that I was able to have a natural birth and get through all of the hype of birth being scary and painful. I love to know that I gave birth with clarity and that I am strong, patient, calm, and most importantly, I am a woman, and the birth of my child was the most natural thing my body was supposed to go through. What do I owe my success to? My own grit, knowledge, preparation, and above all, support; that is where Sara comes in. Do I feel as though I could have had a natural birth without Sara as my Doula? Probably, but would have I wanted to? Not in a million years. The moment I met Sara, I knew she had to be my Doula, she was calm; her voice just puts you at ease; and she provides you only with confidence in your birth. I didn't just have someone that was there for m birth, Sara was there for every question that I needed an answer to, whether it was about the birth, healing, breastfeeding, vaccinations and health of my son once he was born, the list goes on. We formed a relationship that did not feel like a business. Her main goal is for you to have a successful birth and to be a successful mother. Anyone that I speak to that is looking to have a natural birth, I tell them I feel that having a Doula, the right Doula, is absolutely, hands down, the most important part. Even with a supportive partner by my side during labor and delivery, Sara being there made us both feel so incredibly comfortable, we never felt lost or worried, we could not picture ever having another child without her there again. Sara clearly loves what she does and provides nothing but the best service you could ever, ever, expect from your Doula. The amount of thankfulness and happiness that I feel for Sara is beyond words. She helped in achieving, what I feel is the most important goal in any pregnant woman's life, a beautiful, natural and healthy birth of their child. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
