There are so many wonderful things to say about Jade and our experience with her. We first met at a pre-natal yoga class where I instantly felt a connection with her. Earlier that day my wife and I decided to go with another doula because it really was time to make a decision but we weren't completely satisfied. I went home after the yoga class and told my wife "I know we already picked someone but you just have to meet this woman."
The three of us got together and within minutes we knew we had to make the switch! It was the best decision we ever made. Jade is incredibly thoughtful and thorough. She helped me work through my thoughts on many medical decisions and would randomly send text messages to me and my wife to "check in." She wasn't just checking in though, she was affirming this journey we were on, with positive thoughts and encouragement. The best part is that when the birth of our son was over and done, Jade became an even more valuable source of information and support. I never realized how many questions surge after the birth of a child (and I considered us pretty well prepared). Jade guided us, was a friend during meltdowns, and even made us lunch one day during that first week when we were in the new baby haze and realized we hadn't eaten all day. She has truely gone above and beyond. Jade did not only become our doula, but she has become a part of our family! Meet Jade and you will see for yourself the amazing doula she is.
