Arti was an incredibly calming and encouraging presence throughout our birthing experience. She was organized and very 'present' in her attentions. She lent a stability to the room, both through setting an emotional tone that was comforting and also by providing explanation and context to what was to happen next. Her knowledge and instruction was incredibly valuable to us as first time parents, as it provided an anchor of sorts. She was reliable, considerate and helpful without ever being intrusive or in the way. From the beginning, Arti was committed, pleasant, and warm. She had very good instincts in when to gently assert herself and when to fall back and allow the room to flow. We were incredibly grateful for having her there with us, and we found her to have been an essential part to the success of our birthing experience.
