Hiring Ravae to help prepare for the birth and delivery of my first child was the best decision I made for myself and my family. Over the months leading up to the birth of our daughter, we established a friendly and trusting relationship. Ravae helped my husband and I to explore all our options and make preparations, acted as a trusted "sounding board" for our ideas and concerns, and literally and figuratively held both our hands throughout the labor and delivery process. Ravae cares deeply about her work, her families, and the birthing process. She was always respectful of our birth preferences, and she guided us gently through the stages of pre and post natal care. My husband and I both feel that hiring a doula made our communication stronger throughout the pregnancy, and made our entry into life as new parents much less stressful and more enjoyable.
