As a first time parent being with my girlfriend as she gave birth was nerve wrecking. It wasn't done in a hospital it was at a birthing center with a midwife. They treated the situation without care or emotion as if it was any other day or birth. I didnt feel any comfort at all. But luckily we had a doula her name is michele marquez. As soon as she arrived she took control of the situation and eased me and my girlfriend into the birth step by step like a true professional. She lifted a big weight off my shoulders when she arrived. She has a great personality and smile and I would recommend her to anyone wanting a doula or wanting to try it out. I know me and my gf were glad to have her! And im sure anyone else would love to have her helping every step of the way. She is heartfelt about her job and it isn't just a job to her its a career she loves. So if anyone is curious about a doula I think michele would be the best choice you could make.
