My husband and I decided to work with Ellie fairly late in the game (around 32 weeks) after we realized we could benefit from additional support for our labor and delivery (we are first-time parents). Ellie had just the right touch--both offering information/science/stats and providing emotional support and coaching. This was particularly helpful as we were not able to take a birthing class due to some family and scheduling issues. With her help and a few additional resources, we still felt prepared enough for the challenge. Ellie's training includes HypnoBirthing methods and rebozo techniques, which were helpful in feeling like we had some tools to work with (and we didn't have to keep them all in our own heads). She is a great listener and will truly advocate for and respect what the client wants, with no judgment. Her coaching and positive attitude during labor were invaluable--both to me and to my husband. We found it easy to trust her completely and let her share the experience with us. She took some incredible photos of the moments after birth, which we would have been too overwhelmed to capture ourselves. We'll certainly treasure those as well as the memories of the ups & downs of labor and delivery. We highly recommend working with Ellie!!
