I'm certain I would have been forced into having a c-section, if not for the support of my family and my doulas (Kathleen and her backup Joli), and the amazing nurses we had at TCH Pavilion for Women. My son was born sunny-side up after an unusual labor lasting 53 hours (my contractions never went to less than 5min apart on their own).
