Bethany was our doula for the birth of our first child. Even though we paid for the birth only package due to budget restrictions, she still took the time to meet with us in person before the birth. I was very comfortable with her right away. We traveled to a birthing center over 2 hours from our house and she was right there to meet us when we arrived in the early morning. I was in hard labor and she helped me through my contractions with massage and wet towels for my head. She helped me remember to breath when I wanted to hold my breath. When I felt like I couldn't do it anymore she was there with her calming pressence to remind me that "I was doing it". I was able to achieve a drug free birth with her help and I will be forever grateful!
