We loved working with Danielle. She was perfect for us. She was reassuring and supportive to two first-time parents during our prenatal and postnatal visits. She immediately felt warm and familiar, which I really appreciated. I wish we could have had her at our delivery, but as it was, our baby had a different plan and chose to come in a very short period of time. It caught us all off guard including our midwife and poor Danielle who arrived at the hospital about 10 minutes after our baby flew into the world, fast and furious. It was still wonderful having her there after to help calm with essential oils and to assist with nursing.
Danielle also encapsulated our placenta for us and I can't speak more highly of this service! It helped me so much with keeping post partum anxiety at bay, increased energy and (I firmly believe) an abundant early milk supply. She also presented us with a special keepsake, made out of our umbilical cord, which I proudly displayed on our fridge for a while! :)
I'd highly recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a doula or for placenta encapsulation. She's awesome!
