We are grateful to Heidi for prepping us for our birth. Our main motivation for hiring a doula was for my husband, he asks tons of questions, and wasn't sure how he would be during the birth so we wanted someone there to step in for my support if we needed it. It was so comforting having someone there who could answer my husbands questions, and keep him his best so he could help me. One of the things I remember during my amazing birth is Heidi's voice, "that's the way mama" and having her remind me to breath, and keep on top of my contractions when they were really intense. She also helped answer several of my breastfeeding questions after the birth which was extremely helpful for me! She was always calm and patient and a wonderful addition to our birth team.
