Everyone thought I was crazy for hiring a doula/photographer for the birth of our daughter... Now I'm getting ask how they can contact my "person."
Maegan has been amazing start to finish. Well we actually aren't finished yet because after maternity, birth and newborn photos, we've meet again for 6 month photos. I have a feeling that we will meet many times over the years with new babies and new photo sessions. Maegan is not only fantastic at what she does, she has a noticeable, strong desire to make you completely happy with your experience and with your photos.
As to her doula-ing abilities - I'm positive I wouldn't have had the natural childbirth I wanted and received with out her everlasting support and encouragement. Maegan guided us through the process and the birth with confidence and loving care. AND somehow managed to get incredible photos in between reminding me to breath... Although I wanted my husband to be my partner through the birth, Maegan was extremely valuable in guiding us both when necessary and helping him know how to help me. He is extremely grateful to say the least.
If you're on the fence about hiring a photographer and/or doula - just do it! You won't regret it. I can't think of a better way to honor the miracle of childbirth than having someone as special and as talented as Maegan with you to encourage, rejoice and capture the amazing moments you'll cherish for years to come.
