I was just amazed watching Heidi talk Megan through contractions. The amount of deep expertise she has doing this was so apparent. She was able to on-the-spot figure out exactly what Megan needed to hear in a way that really altered the course of her labor. Five minutes in, I knew that Megan was in the best possible hands. I only wish we could have had Heidi there for the birth of our first child :)
