We contacted Elaine shortly before expecting the birth of our second child. My husband and i had agreed we needed the doula for the additional coaching and support through the birth process. We were committed to having a natural child birth, and even though I hit my wall during labor (as all women do) Elaine was there patiently reminding me why we chose the path that we did. In the end, my daughter's birth was an amazing event. She worked really well with the staff at the hospital. We were exceedingly pleased with how things went. I am proud of what i accomplished as a mother that day. We couldn't have done it without Elaine. Our follow up conversations and visit helped to deal with some lactation issues. Elaine is sincerely interested in the well being of her clients and their experiences with childbirth.
