When I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I was petrified!. Although I had gone through giving birth before, and did it without drugs, I KNEW what was coming, and I had nightmares about it. I had no idea having Heidi involved would change my experience so dramatically. Instead of it being a somewhat traumatic experience like before, it was a life changing beautiful experience. We started out with just wanting a private birth class. She came to our home, and within ten minutes we knew we had to have her as our doula . She is non judgmental and beyond supportive of what YOU want your experience to be, with a vast knowledge that she doesn't overwhelm you with. She made us feel supported, strong, and totally able to handle this birth. She helped me immensely after my son was born, coming over to my house and helping me with nursing. Again I had done this all before, but wow did she open my eyes to things I didn't know in regards to nursing, sleeping, etc, making my life so much easier! If your not sure whether or not you should hire a doula, I'll tell you right now, Do it! And make it heidi. This woman knows what's up. You will Not regret it, whether your a first time mom or have ten kids.
