Tunisia was an absolute joy to work with and from the first time we met we felt a strong connection to her! Her dedication to us brought comfort and peace about our upcoming birth. She didn't care what time it was or how far away we lived she came when we needed her during the months and weeks before our son was born to provide massage, encouragement and simply to check in on us. She of course did all the big things you would expect from a doula, but honestly it was all the little things that made our birth experience so wonderful. She literally packed my bag for the hospital when we realized our home birth wasn't going to be an option a few hours after my water broke! Thankfully she had already asked me to prepare a basket for our son and for myself of all the necessities. When we arrived at the hospital she met us at the ER door to go park our car! It is all these things and more that allowed my husband to stay focused on me and provided us with the ability to not worry about a thing except when the next contraction would happen. Tunisia was wonderful in working with the hospital staff to ensure our birth plan was followed and to assist us with any support, encouragement or a hand to hold! It was a beautiful and miraculous moment when our son was born and I'm so thrilled that Tunisia was a part of the experience. Her ability to provide a calming voice, a steady hand, a great knowledge of the birthing process and a serving heart made our birth experience wonderful. We became parents that day and Tunisia became part of our family!
