Kimberley was great in helping me relax on our pre-labor visits. She came to my house and we went over aromatherapy, relaxation techniques, meditation, stretching on a yoga ball and my birth plan. She let me borrow her yoga ball so I could practice in between visits, which I appreciated.
It is not a doulas job to make any decisions regarding birth plans, but she was supportive of any decisions I wanted and was very informative, letting me know I always had options.
During my labor, Kimberly was reliable and happy to come support me as early or late as I wanted. She set up her aromatherapy diffuser in my hospital room and I was relaxed knowing that she was there. She stayed for the whole time until the baby arrived, even though it was a day and a half in the hospital!
