Her knowledge, training and personal experience helped us to create a birth plan that we were comfortable with. Her work began long before the birth of our child -- as an encourager -- as I mentally, physically and spiritually prepared for having my first baby. I went past my due date and Elaine was a constant source of support and guidance as I (not so patiently) awaited the arrival of our baby. The night I delivered, she nearly beat us to the hospital. She provided encouragement for me AND my husband, helping to advocate for our wishes and working closely with the nurses at the hospital. Elaine truly helped make the birth of our first child a wonderful experience and should we be so blessed to grow our family, I will be calling on her again!
