I honestly don’t even have enough words to express how grateful I am for Stephanie. Having her by my side during labor and delivery made such a huge difference in my experience.
One of the things I’ll always appreciate is that she was there for me even when my husband couldn’t be by my side. I never felt alone because Stephanie was always there. She helped me through contractions with different positions, massages, and knowing exactly where I needed comfort. She was constantly checking on me and making sure I was okay.
One moment that really stands out to me was when I was unsure about having my water broken. I didn’t know what to ask or how to make sure I was making the right decision for myself. Stephanie took the time to talk things through with me, helped me understand my options, and guided me on what questions to ask my nurse. She never made the decision for me; she helped me feel confident enough to make my own. Honestly, I know that without her there, I would have felt so lost in that moment.
She made me feel heard, respected, safe, and supported throughout the entire experience. As a first-time mom, having someone who was there not only to comfort me physically but also to help me navigate those important decisions meant more than I can explain.
Looking back, I’m so thankful I had Stephanie as part of such a special moment in my life. Bringing my baby girl into this world is something I’ll cherish forever, and I’m so glad she was part of our birth story.
