I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have met such a wonderful doula during one of the most important and vulnerable moments of my life.
As a single mother, I was going through the beginning of motherhood on my own, and she was there for me when I needed someone the most. On the day I gave birth, she supported me throughout my C-section and took care of my baby while I was still in the recovery room. By the time I finally got to meet my little one, it was already 5 AM. I later found out that she lived quite far from the hospital, which made her dedication and willingness to stay even more meaningful to me.
During my postpartum recovery, I was able to sleep peacefully because I knew my baby was in such gentle, loving, and caring hands. She treated my little one with so much tenderness and patience, making me feel completely at ease. She also carefully documented my baby’s feeding times, sleeping patterns, and daily routines, which was incredibly helpful as a first-time mom.
On top of that, she even helped me keep my home clean, organized, and tidy while I was recovering. Her kindness went far beyond what I could have expected.
I truly cannot express how much her support meant to me. Those first few days of motherhood can be overwhelming, especially when you’re navigating everything as a single mother. Having someone so compassionate, thoughtful, and dedicated by my side made all the difference.
I will always be grateful that I had the chance to meet her and have her support during the very beginning of my journey as a mother. She didn’t just care for my baby; she cared for me, too. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a doula who genuinely cares. ??
