Julie was incredible. My husband and I would recommend her to anyone seeking an honest, caring, intelligent, passionate birth doula. The prenatal visit was thorough, personable, and informative; she was reachable throughout my entire pregnancy; and then she completely showed up for us during labor & delivery. In early labor, she was ultra-responsive via phone, and then she showed up at the hospital as soon as I asked her to. She is communicative and supportive in whichever way works for you as the client, but all of her recommendations are evidence-based, which we greatly appreciated. My husband was skeptical of the need for a doula at first, but after meeting Julie during the prenatal visit, he was sold. Now, after having her with us throughout labor & delivery, he thinks she was indispensable. I’m so glad she was part of my support team during labor and that she was part of the birth of our first baby. We will definitely hire her again if we have more!
