If I had to rate my experience with Rachel on a 5 star scale- I'd give her 10 stars! From the beginning she was personable, proffesional and a calming presence. She was thorough in her approach to educate my husband and I on what to expect going into labor and kept an open line of communication long before labor even started. She truly cares about her clients and made me feel like a person and not just a number in a system. She was gentle in her touch, calming in her voice and firm enough in her suggestions during labor to help me focus without making me feel bullied or silenced. Without her there to help guide, coach and encourage me throughout- my birth story wouldn't have been as redemptive, blessed and as incredible as it was! As far as I'm concerned- she's the only doula I will fervently recommend going forward!
