I can't recommend Kaylen enough! I delivered at Mount Sinai West and my birth truly transcended what I expected for it, and I do believe it was because I trusted Kaylen to usher me through it. She was so professional, calm and knowledgeable, and I knew I was safe and in good hands throughout, which allowed me to focus on trusting my body during birth because I knew I had all other aspects handled by Kaylen. I had a natural unmedicated birth which was so incredibly empowering and I only look back on my birth with positive and amazing feelings.
Kaylen is a deep well of knowledge, and always so up to date on the latest research, I learned something every single time we talked. Her pre-birth sessions were so educational and helped me and my husband feel prepared heading into a new, unknown chapter. She knew how to be fully present with me in a way I didn't even know I needed, at times helping me navigate the transformation that is becoming a mother and parent.
Her care didn't stop at the birth, she cared for me throughout my postpartum for 8 weeks, nurturing me and teaching us all the ins and outs of how to care for our baby. She helped me establish breastfeeding successfully and I'm still 9 months going strong!
Would recommend and work with Kaylen again for future births in a heartbeat.
