We took the Evidence Based Birth (EBB) Class with Rachel and as new parents, this class gave us confidence as to what to expect next. Rachel is a not only a sweet, salt-of-the-Earth type of person, but she is truly a wealth of knowledge and knows every trick in the book to help you have a successful birth. This class was eye opening and informed both of us as to every aspect of this new chapter that we needed to know from preparation to postpartum so that we are not blindsided by overwhelm and are actually educated so that we can adequately advocate for ourselves and new baby.
As an expectant mother, I cannot put my finger on one particular thing that I learned as a takeaway, but Rachel gave me the tools that I need to approach this chapter with confidence and helped me to set my expectations.
My husband came out of this class refreshed and prepared, too- he learned so many acupressure points and tecniques to ensure that he feels fulfilled in his part in bringing our baby home and stepping into his role as a father.
