Hiring Jessica as my doula was one of the best decisions I made. My son’s birth was incredibly fast, unexpected, and traumatic, and I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through it without her.
Jessica was pregnant herself while supporting me, yet she was completely present for us. She was by my side during labor and delivery, and after my son was born, she took me to the hospital to be with him. She advocated for us, made sure I understood what was happening, and even made sure my placenta was safely stored by getting a cooler for it.
After my son was born, I was in complete shock and couldn’t think clearly or even process what was happening. My husband was also trying to process everything and was so thankful to have Jessica there. She asked the right questions, advocated for us, and helped us navigate an incredibly overwhelming situation. I will never forget that she advocated for me to hold my son when I was too overwhelmed to even think to ask.
She stayed with us at the hospital while our son was there and reminded me to take care of myself, too. She supported me with breastfeeding, checked on me afterward, and captured some beautiful photos that I will always treasure.
Jessica went above and beyond in every way. She wasn’t just our doula—she was our support system when we needed it most. I am forever grateful for her compassion, advocacy, and care. If I could do it all over again, I would choose her every single time. 10/10 recommend Jessica!
