Jessica was such an incredible addition to our birth party for baby number 2. She listened to all of my concerns as well as my birth goals, took detailed notes, and made sure to keep our birth plan as close to my wishes as possible.
I really appreciated how knowledgeable and relaxed she was throughout my pregnancy as well as during labor itself! She made our labor room so cozy, which helped me relax as much as I could while bringing our baby girl earthside.
My husband also felt very supported during birth by Jessica, which allowed him to be more hands on with me. Having her there to step in as our advocate during the process helped me breathe and power through during the intensity of it all while he was able to focus solely on me.
Afterwards, Jessica set up a postpartum meeting where she brought us dinner and a cake to celebrate our daughter becoming a big sister, and we were able to discuss how the birth went and how we felt about the process as a whole!
I absolutely will recommend her to anyone who is even considering having a doula at their next birth because I really feel it made all of the difference to having a peaceful birth experience! If we have anymore children in the future, we will definitely be reaching out to her again!
